About me: Hello! My name is TyAnna Fisher and I was born and raised in the New Lexington City School district. After graduating in 2016 I went to college at the University of Akron where I studied Adolescent to Young Adult Education. In 2019 I decided to take a break to teach english as a second language in areas of rural Asia. The trip fostered my love of teaching and ultimately guided me back to Kent State University where I graduated with my bachelors degree in education. I have now been teaching in the district that raised me since fall of 2022.
Active Roles: I currently teach all freshman physical science sections and spend the time preparing them for the remainder of their high school experience. Aside from my role as a teacher I am also the head cross country coach and work as an assistant to the track team as the distance coach. I get to work with select students again through being the National Honor Society chapter adviser.
Parents: Physical science covers a basic introduction to both chemistry and physics. If your child is struggling or you have any questions/comments/concerns please feel free to email me at
