I began teaching at New Lexington High School in 2014. Prior to my employment at the high school, I taught fifth grade at Holy Trinity in Somerset for 6 years. I attended Ohio State University pursuing a degree in Wildlife Management before transferring to Ohio University to pursue a degree for education. I have a Bachelors degree from Ohio University in Environmental Education and a Masters degree from Muskingum University as an Intervention Specialist. Prior to a career in education, I was a park ranger working at Clear Creek in Hocking County, Dillon State Park, and various other parks in Central Ohio. I also worked for the Buckeye Trail Association building hiking trails in Wayne National Forest. In my spare time I enjoy hiking/backpacking, kayaking and fly fishing.
I teach small group Algebra I (9th), Geometry (10th), Algebra II (11th) and Financial Algebra (12th). I am also in two inclusion classes, Algebra 1 with Mrs. Gibbs and Financial Algebra with Miss Studer.
