Haley Davis

Hello, I am Mrs. Davis!

Hello, I am Haley Davis and I am one of the New Lexington FFA Advisors and agriculture instructors. At the middle school, I teach Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, as well as Animal and Plant Science. At the high school, I teach three College Credit Plus classes: Agribusiness, Sustainable Agriculture, and Community Advocacy (Chapter Officer team).  I am excited to begin my fifth year of teaching agriculture and serving as an FFA Advisor.

I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Agriscience Education in the spring of 2020, with a minor in production agriculture.  Prior to moving back to my hometown of New Lexington, I was an agriculture instructor at Edythe J. Hayes Middle School in Lexington, KY through Locust Trace Agriscience Center.

I have also had the pleasure of working for the National FFA Organization for over five years. My role allowed me to train State FFA Officers across the country in the areas of leadership, communication, public speaking, and workshop facilitation.

While I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Evan, who is also an agriculture educator and FFA advisor here. We enjoy spending our time outdoors, hiking, biking, and playing pickleball.
