The New Lexington School District is committed to raising the awareness of the issue of bullying in our schools. Our mission is to help parents, teachers, students and the community address this problem. We aspire to eradicate bullying in all district buildings and create mutual respect in the community.
The definition of bullying is "unwanted behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance and happens in repetition" (Stopbullying.gov, n.d.).
Please keep in mind that harassment and bullying is a repeated occurrence an not an isolated incident.
