Spring testing is just around the corner and we have a lot to learn about.  You can help your child at home by working on the following:

 

Math 

*  Adding and Subtracting within a 1,000 with regrouping

*  Counting money and making change using dollar bills and coins

*  Telling time to the nearest 5 minutes

*  Identifying fractions

*  Measuring in inches, feet, centimeters, and meters 

 

*  Reading for 20 minutes a night

*  Using reading strategies to improve comprehension such as making predictions, drawing conclusions, identifying the author's purpose,  knowing the main idea and supporting details of a story.
