Who is Mrs. Durant?

This is my ninth year in the New Lexington School District, but my sixth year at New Lexington Middle School. I am currently the director of bands and choirs grades 6-8. I was born and raised in Whitehall, Ohio. In 2014, I graduated from Capital University with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. I also graduated from Ohio University with a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2020. When I am not teaching I enjoy crocheting, hiking, and playing with my dog, Lola.

Concert Dates

Winter Concert (7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, and 6-8th grade Choir)

Tuesday December 5, 2023 at 6:00pm in the NLMS Gym (This is a change from the original date!)

Spring Concert (All middle school band and choir students grades 6-8)

Monday May 6, 2024: 6:00pm in the NLMS Gymnasium
