WILLIAMSPORT - The Muskingum Valley League will have representation in next weekend’s Division II state golf meet
at Ohio State’s Scarlet Course.
New Lexington was the
district runner-up, and advance from the Wednesday’s Division II district
tournament at Crown Point.
The top two teams and two individuals on non-qualifying teams earned state berths.
The
Panthers reached their goal to compete at the state
meet.
The Panthers shot a 326 to advance.
Kolten
Foraker paced New Lex with 77, while Brayden Metzger shot a 79, Caleb
Barnette an 84 and Trey Givens an 86. Tyler Brown also had 92.
