Fruit sale kicks off for New Lex FFA

The New Lexington FFA is selling fruit, beef and cheese in order to raise money for the FFA Chapter.

The group is selling Hamlin oranges; $15 for half box and $25 for a full box, Tangelos; $15 for half box and $25 for a full box, Red Grapefruit; $15 for half box and $25 for a full box, Navel Oranges; $18 for half box and $28 for a full box, Red Delicious Apple; $18 for a half box and $30 for a full box, Washington State Fancy Pears; $22 for a half box and $40 for a full box, and Golden Pineapple; $15 for a half box and $25 for a full box.

Items for the cheese include; Mild Swiss, Smoked Swiss, Colby, Marble , Baby Lacy Swiss, Bacon Cheese, Sharp Colored Cheddar, Mozzarella, Havarti, Pepper Jack, Horseradish, Pepperoni, Vegetable Yogurt, Chipotle Jack, and Smokey Cheddar all for $6 a piece.

The FFA is also offering a five-year White Cheddar for $8. Other items include: Beef, Snack Stick (original) $12, Snack Sticks (spicy) $12, Beef Summer Sausage SINGLE $8, Beef Summer Sausage DOUBLE $13, Beef Jerky country style $20, and Beef Jerky spicy $20.

All the citrus is from Florida, the apples are from Ohio and the pears are from Washington. The beef and cheese is all from Ohio.
