New Lexington Schools are excited to announce that we are now able to offer a live remote broadcast of specific events that are available for viewing via our website. We offer this as an option for our community members and families that are unable to attend events or live out of town, but would still love to support their student and our organizations here at New Lex. At this time, we are able to broadcast every home athletic event hosted in our HS gymnasium and are working to expand this ability to other buildings and venues. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to broadcast football games as a result of OHSSA contractual issues. We are also permitted to broadcast a limited number of other non-athletic events throughout the year (i.e. graduation, concerts etc.) Events are broadcast live (with a 90sec FCC required delay) and are then archived for later viewing. The first few minutes are available in High Definition and then slow to a lower resolution. If you so choose, you can pay a small fee to continue to watch the event in High Definition or continue to watch in the lower resolution at no charge. Please keep in mind that this is a work in progress and there are likely to be issues that we will continue to resolve, one of which being the ability to have a scoreboard visible on the feed. From there, scroll down to Panther Vision – Live Streaming and you will see a countdown to the next broadcast and any archived events underneath.
