Trey Givens fired a four-hitter with 11 strikeouts to earn the win for New Lexington. He scattered four singles and two walks.
The
game was tied at 1 entering the sixth but Seth Burgess had a key
two-run single to break the game open. Aaron Foreman added a
first-inning double that plated a run for the Panthers.
