Mr. Lindsay and our high school students teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders from New Lexington Elementary, and Junction City Elementary the basic principles of welding.  They start with safety and PPE on day one, then work through how to prepare the metal for the weld, and eventually weld their own model airplane or eagle by the end of day three.  This is a very successful program and continues to build interest in our Middle School Transitional Welding Class as well as our High School D 1.1 certification.
