CHILLICOTHE - New Lexington flexed their muscles on Tuesday.
New Lexington sophomore Trey Givens tied for fourth
at 80, as the Panthers were second overall as a team.
The Panthers finished with 331. Chillicothe Unioto
was third (336), Fairfield Union fourth (339) and Chillicothe Zane Trace
fifth (350).
The top five teams and individuals from non-qualifying teams advanced to the district, set for Oct. 5 at Crown Hill.
New Lexington, coming off a Muskingum Valley League title, got an 80
from sophomore Trey Givens and 83s from seniors Brayden Metzger and
Caleb Barnette, while junior Kolten Foraker added 85.
The Panthers are making their second district trip in three years under coach Tim O’Hare.
