Freshmen Orientation

August 18, 2016

Students entering the 9th grade at New Lexington High School were greeted with cheers as they entered the school to attend their orientation evening. Approximately 20 upperclassmen served as mentors and made sure the new students felt extra special by applauding for them as they arrived, showing them around the school, and making sure they were comfortable with their class schedules. Students also had the chance to hear from administrators, practice their class schedules, and meet with teachers. At the end of the evening, students were celebrated once again with a special pep rally in their honor.
