Join us for FREE summer meals

Dear Parents,

New Lexington City Schools is excited to announce that we have once again partnered with the USDA to offer FREE summer meals to children in the community through the Summer Food Service Program. It’s food that’s in, while school is out! There are no income requirements and any child age 18 and under may come to eat. The program will begin Monday June 8, 2015 and run through Friday July 31, 2015.

Meals will be served Monday – Friday from 12:00 – 12:30pm at the following sites:

New Lexington Middle School New Lexington Park

New Lexington Village Apts (Behind Kroger) Junction City Park

Somerset Park Crooksville Park

Village Green Apts (Crooksville) Shawnee Park (Nicofiber)

Meals will also be available from 11am – 12pm at:

Perry County Fairgrounds (Good News Building), July 22 and 23

Hocking College Rm# 210 (second floor entrance), July 20 and 24

In addition to the Summer Food Service Program, we are introducing a new program for free Weekend Meals. These meals will be distributed on Fridays at all sites after the regular meal service and will contain 2 Breakfast, 2 Lunch and 2 Supper options for the weekend, as well as fresh produce. Please see your site supervisor for more information on the Summer Weekend Meal Program.

We look forward to serving your child this summer!
