in the Division II sectional final on Thursday.

Panthers (5-14) answered with two in the second. Jared Wycinski hit a
one-out single to start the rally and Gage Morgan reached on an error.
Seth Burgess then singled home Wycinski, and Morgan scored on Chase
Sheppard’s groundout.
“We
struggled to score against Metzger.” Fisher said.
Metzger suffered the loss, as he scattered
nine hits with four walks and two strikeouts in 6 1/3 innings, and
Wycinski had two of the Panthers’ four hits.
